Possibilities of a B&N bank pension card. Binbank: interest and conditions for a pension card. Possibilities of MIR debit cards for pensioners

Updated 12/27/2017.

Many believe that pensioners are not interested in banking offers from credit institutions other than Sberbank, that they do not use Internet banking, and do not know what cashback or interbank transfer is.

However, I can say with confidence that this is not the case. I constantly receive letters from older readers asking me to help them understand various banking services, choose a card or a profitable deposit, explain in more detail how to withdraw money from cards without commission, make interbank transfers, etc.

People are often asked to tell us about profitable banking products, designed specifically for retirees.

Let's see what conditions are offered to pensioners receiving a pension on a Sberbank social card:

We see that the main advantage of Sberbank for pensioners is that the card is free, 3.5% on the balance, and the ability to withdraw cash from the bank’s numerous ATMs.

Some people think that it is only possible to receive a pension on a Sberbank card, because this National Bank, and the state issues pensions through this credit institution.

However, the pension fund can transfer pensions to other banks. Moreover, in this case, some credit organizations offer pensioners quite favorable conditions.

In order to transfer a pension to a card of another bank, sometimes it is not even necessary to go to the pension fund yourself; an application for transfer can be filled out directly at a bank branch.
